A facial skin cancer diagnosis can be devastating. Knowing that you will have an operation which will scar your face is bad enough; when a skin cancer involves your nose, lips, or eyelids, that’s even more worrisome. Be sure to choose a surgeon with a lot of experience doing nasal reconstruction, eyelid reconstruction, and lip reconstruction. The eyelids are very special anatomical regions, with obviously vital function. I have had extensive experience in oculoplastic surgery with some of the world’s most reknowned eyelid surgeons. During my 8 month time at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, I did an incredible number of nasal reconstruction, eyelid reconstruction, and lip reconstruction. If you have been diagnosed with a skin cancer of your face, I will work closely with your dermatologist to ensure complete removal and accurate reconstruction. You can feel confident that your final appearance and function will be as good as possible.
